TdCP Stage 2 Provisional Results and report

Pinch, punch, First of the month HCC.

Another amazing stage, full of drama. A really tough course in a month that has seen nearly all seasons. Your efforts have been inspiring to see and once again, thank you so much for your commitment!

Please see the results attached, they are provisional until Sunday 18.00 after I’ve been to the club and given you the chance to feedback in person, if not on here. I used both hands to do counting so I will gracefully accept corrections.

I have two special mentions for this stage and that’s for Ian Goldsmith who incorporated the inaugural GF ride with TdCP efforts and has made the inters standings very entertaining! Also a shout out goes to Frank Ling for a remarkable suggestion at our AGM this month suggesting our winners choose a charity for HCC to donate to.

Rider of the Stage has to be Ant Newton. Astonishing ride, it’s not always about speed but this was a special effort. I honestly thought at the start of the stage that the sub hour chat was just banter. Well done but beware, yellow is a heavy colour…

Well done to all our new yellow jersey riders. Please remember to wear an item of yellow (up to you how you interpet this) on club rides. Ride leaders please enforce this, if they turn up without yellow, send them home to get changed.

The TdCP train speeds on, literally in Stage 3 as we pass technology that needs no port. Peene, certainly is train world, watch out for miniature trains in the road.
