During September Hythe Cycling Club member John Allingham will be cycling from the Channel down to the Mediterranean on a charity ride for Marie Curie.

“In my boring normal life wearing yellow lycra is frowned upon so the chance of spending 8 days looking like a lumpy daffodil with a bunch of similarly clad folk while thrashing my bike over 624miles and up (and down) 34,000feet of french countryside appeals. I do this to give a little something back to Marie Curie who helped us when we needed them most.”
